Creating a PMO solution with you that works for your organisation
What do you want from your PMO? Whilst there are industry standard principles and methodology for the project delivery and portfolio management, it’s important that these be applied to meet the specific and practical requirements of your organisation. PMO's often takes the lead on assurance of projects and programmes to provide objective oversight on quality and efficiency. The PMO is not immune to becoming complacent and should also be subject to a regular MOT. Tooles Consulting can work with your PMO, as an objective independent partner, to identify areas which need fine tuning or a more substantial update. The review can be undertaken as an ad hoc or regular activity and will generally consist of;
Interviews with the PMO team and a subset of stakeholders including project managers, sponsors and delivery partners. Observation of the PMO in action. Review of process, tools and reporting
Feedback will be through presentation, open discussion and will include recommendations for remediation or development opportunities. Tooles Consulting can continue to partner with you and your PMO to put recommendations into actions.
Taking your PMO team to the next level, sharing experience and evolving skills
Sometimes you just need the benefit of talking through challenges and getting a different perspective.
